Sustainable Performance Assessment towards Sustainable Consumption and Production: Evidence from the Indian Dairy Industry

The current global economic status quo is widely seen as unsustainable in the food sector. field of sustainability science still rather fragmented, covering a wide range techniques and issues, despite large number publications this area. Due to population growth, supply chain (FSC) farmers have produce more food. UN estimates that one-third edible wasted, producing greenhouse gases. A balance must be struck between company operations social, environmental, activities for sustainable development FSC. To assist FSC organizations managing advancement, study created methodology assessment performance. We provide system using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, VIKOR, TOPSIS. Our research framework evaluated three cooperative-society-run Indian dairy firms. gives environmental criteria highest weight (0.33) social lowest (0.16), with reasons (0.306) business (0.204) falling middle.
